The One You Love

One person in your family should approve of who you are marrying because if nobody approves he/she will most likely be despised by the family. And the only reason that will happen is because she seems like a bad role model and they will not want her around you. But if at least one out of the crowed approves that one family member will be able to influence the others dramatically. And one will not want his wife or her husband to to be nearly hated by his family and she will not appreciate the feelings.

    I see what you are saying, but what if the family isn't exactly good, and disapprove the significant other who is better then them?

    I don't think they will be despised by the family and you shouldn't just marry or not marry someone, because your family approves or disapproves.
